PLANT CITY - It's hard to tell whether Ellen Garrett and Heather Davis are astral twins or the yin and yang of downtown Plant City.

Davis drinks coffee. Garrett sips tea. Neither has run a business before, but that hasn't kept either of them from turning their respective passions into budding enterprises in the heart of the historical district.

Davis opened Coffee 101: Espress Yourself, 'the city's first real coffeehouse,' on J. Arden Mays Boulevard in February. Two months later, Garrett quietly opened the doors to the long-awaited Camellia Rose Tea Room & Gifts on Collins Street.
